Product Description Toss out the plastic & bring in hand polished aluminum. Designed in one of the most popular kitchen themes, our timer looks just like a rooster nesting on a country basket. Created from a sand casting, the detail work on the kitchen timer is simply incredible. Gift boxed for your convenience. Browse through our complete collection of kitchen accessories & accents to find gifts for the home. Crows cock-a-doodle-doo!
Amazon.com Review This kitchen timer adds a little fancy to its function with its intricately sculpted likeness of a Chanticleer rooster sitting in a basket. At once charming and elegant, the rooster timer makes a wonderful acquisition for collectors of this folk icon and offers a more attractive decor option than the inexpensive plastic timers. Sandwiched between the handcrafted and -polished aluminum rooster and his basket is the timer, which starts ticking when the rooster is rotated to the left. The timer tracks cooking times of up to 1 hour in marked 5-minute increments. The most delightful feature of all comes when time is up and the rooster crows a hearty cock-a-doodle-doo. The rooster measures about 3-1/2 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches around and its aluminum construction cleans easily with mild soap and water. The rooster's crow operates via a single cell battery located under the base of the timer. As Arthur and Elena Court, owners of Arthur Court Designs, are avid conservationists, a percentage of all proceeds of their products go directly to wildlife preservation and environmental research and education projects. --Cristina Vaamonde

doesnt work November 30, 2007 I was very excited to get this rooster timer but very dissapointed. Fast delivery which was great but just opened it and timer does not work. You cant even tell when it is done it just stops.
Rooster review August 3, 2007 This timer is a must. It can be heard all over the house. The product was shipped in a timey manner, in fact I received it long before I thought it was due. Every cook shoud have one.
Dissapointed January 16, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If possible I would have rated this as a "0". It did not cocka-doodle-doo or move through minuted to detect time passing by. I'm surprised it is still on selling list. Why didn't they e-mail me to send one that worked if there are any??
Arthur Court Rooster January 9, 2007 Perfect Arthur Court piece fast shipping. A great company to deal with!
