A perfect accessory for Arthur Court's magnolia-design salad bowl, these hand-crafted salad servers complete the set and add an extra element of charm to a dignified outdoor buffet. The brilliant luster of these servers captures the elegance of antique silver; however, they are actually made of hand-polished aluminum, which is much easier for today's busy hostesses to maintain. Each utensil has an intricately crafted handle resembling a tree branch with a magnolia bud at the grasping end. The heads of the servers are patterned in the shape of magnolia blossoms in full bloom. The "spoon" utensil is a solid flower, enabling guests to scoop without spilling, and the other utensil has slightly separated petals to form a creatively designed three-pronged fork. Each server measures about 11-1/2 inches long and rests flat on a tabletop until mealtime. These aluminum servers are not dishwasher-safe but clean easily with mild soap and water. Spraying vegetable oil on them just before serving will protect the polished finish from dulling or discoloration that can occur when serving highly acidic or salty foods. These salad servers make a wonderful shower gift for the bride who has also registered for the matching salad bowl.
