| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description A world-class collection of nonstick cookware, Emerilware bears the signature of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse and was created in partnership with renowned cookware maker All-Clad. Durable, heavy, and beautiful, Emerilware combines the contemporary style of charcoal-black, hard-anodized aluminum and the contemporary ease of nonstick. Key to the cookware's high performance is the exceptional thickness (5 mm) of the hard-anodized aluminum and three layers of tough nonstick. That means better heat retention and scratch resistance. Ideal for low-fat, healthful cooking, Emerilware carries a lifetime warranty against defects. This classic, slope-sided frying pan dramatically displays Emerilware's virtues. It's 8 inches in diameter, perfect for cooking a couple of eggs sunny-side up or a slab of bacon. The pan has a flared lip that prevents drips when pouring. The long handle has an indented thumb rest and is rounded for comfort. Cast of stainless steel and polished, the handle is riveted to the pan for strength, stays cool on the stovetop, and is oven-safe.

Went bad long before other brand pots August 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This pan looks and feels beautiful when new, but its surface went bad long before other brands of similar non-stick surfaces that I own. I paid a lot for it, thinking it would be better than others, not worse. Incredibly, it's to the point where I can't even float an egg in oil in it and cook it without it sticking like it's welded to the pan. How does this happen? (I've only used plastic spatulas on it.) I've had it up to here with this designer-name piece of cookware, and a few minutes ago I finally just tossed it in the trash and came on here to report this poor performance. Your mileage may vary, but that was my experience.
What can I say it cooks well. Its a fry pan August 4, 2008 Uh its made of steel with a nonstick surface and it cooks well. No complaints. Its also well balanced and easy to use
The best little omelette pan April 7, 2007 We've been on the Southbeach diet for a few months and I've been using this pan to cook omelettes for breakfast--I think it's the perfect little fry pan! Just the right size for a 2-3 egg omelette. Heavy, so it heats evenly. The handle is easy to grip, especially with the thumb indent. The rolled edge make sliding an omelette onto your plate and flipping it in half a no-brainer. And of course, the non-stick surface wipes out perfectly. I love it so much that I take it on vacation with me!
