3 out of 5 stars too small   July 14, 2008
go for the 15 oz glasses, these were too small as the main drinking glass. But they look great and are build well, just the size stinks

5 out of 5 stars Anchor Hocking Heavy Base Glasses   May 29, 2008

I love these glasses. I have a catering business and just wanted a nice looking water glass for the summer months for casual dinners. They are not expensive and they look great on a table. I just put them in the dishwasher and they wash up wonderfully with no streaks or water marks on them. For the price you won't find a better glass.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality & Value + MADE IN USA!   February 4, 2008

All 12 of these glasses are great!.

One has to look very close to see the very minor single 1/8" enlargement on the rim of each.

As for the INSIDE of the base.. yes some of the bases have a VERY slight angle to them.. again .. that is on the INSIDE. Do you really care if the bottom of your liquids sit perfectly perpendicular?

The previous buyer needs to buy their glasses and dinnerware at Tiffany's for $50+ per piece with an guarantee of perfection on each.

These are a very good value and very well made. These are made in the USA folks. This means they don't contain LEAD like their Chinese counterparts. This means you are helping to support American workers and their families when you buy these.

2 out of 5 stars Low Price but Also Low Quality   January 23, 2008

Considering the low price, and if you spend enough to get free shipping, these glasses are acceptable. But there are quality issues with these glasses you can't tell until you see them in person. There are small to medium bumps and thickness variations around the rim. And look at the base, please note there is the very bottom of the glass that touches the ground, and there's an inner layer above it which would touch whatever liquid is inside. That inner layer of the base is rarely, properly flat. More often than not it's at a slight, crooked angle, with the amount of crookedness varying from glass to glass. Actually if you look at the product image closely, you can spot it on that example. Overall these glasses are relatively poorly made, have poor consistency and should only be purchased if you're looking for a real bargain and are willing to accept below average quality for it.
