I purchased this kettle from Amazon about 7 months ago, to have in my office. I have used it every day since then, minimum 6 times per day (I drink a LOT of tea at work). It works flawlessly! Stainless rather than plastic, cordless kettle, heats FAST, automatically shuts off, easy-to-see indicator light, easy-to-read water level. In fact, I bought a second one to replace my (more expensive) Braun at home, and a third one as a gift! Buy this kettle; you will not regret it!

I am so happy with this product!!! Had searched for a long time for a kettle affordably priced with a concealed coil and no inside window. It heats very fast, and has all the features I want. Will check back with another report in a few months.

All the 5 star reviews are right. This works amazingly fast. It looks great on the counter. Couldn't be more convenient in design and ease of use/clean-up. And it's durable. I just bought my second one to have at work. The first one is eighteen months old and looks and works like new. We use it for everything. like rushing along dinner by heating up water for items on the stove with this -it's THAT much faster.

I inspected this item at my local Target store and was suprised to find that the base unit was not electrically grounded (2 prong vs 3 prong plug). Since we're dealing with water and electricity, shouldn't the unit be grounded to minimize the potential shock hazard?
