Amazon.com Review From happy hour margaritas to the next morning's o.j., this cute and clever Juicester citrus/reamer by Chef'n handles the job. Simply press any citrus fruit onto the top, and contoured large and small reamers efficiently cut then thoroughly extract the juice. The sides of the tool are see-through and clearly marked in cups, ounces, millimeters, tablespoons, and teaspoons for easy at-a-glance measuring. When it's time to serve, a double strainer catches both pulp and seeds. The juicer also features an ergonomic SavvyGrip(r) handle for comfort and a no-slip base. With its fun space-age shaping and asymmetric accents in a bright orange hue, this is a perfect tool for a mod entertainer or hip kitchen decor. It goes safely into the dishwasher on the top rack. --Kara Karll
Product Description This citrus reamer extracts all of the juice from citrus fruit with unique, contoured reamers that conform to the inner shape of the fruit. The juicer has both large and small reamers for different sizes of citrus fruit. The dual strainer system screens for pulp twice: once when you squeeze the juice and again when you pour. For those who prefer pulp in their juice, simply remove the lid of the juicer when pouring. The base of the juicer is an ergonomic measuring cup with measurements marked in teaspoons, tablespoons, ounces, cups, and millilitres. 250 mL/8 ounce capacity. To clean, disassemble the three piece juicer and wash on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Love it July 22, 2008 My son bought this and I laughed at him. He left it home and I started to use it -- a lot. When he wanted it back I bought two- one for home and one for the cottage. Works great with little effort and it measures at the same time and it goes in the dishwasher. What more can you ask for.
Juicester: Manual Citrus Reamer June 21, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I found this product easy to use with minor to moderate pressure (would not recommend if you have carpal tunnel, etc.). It's nice to have the juice collection chamber that snaps together with the reamer; however, it does make the unit a bit problematic to store. The Juicester does a superb job of breaking down the citrus flesh, almost hollowing out the skin. Although, I would recommend removing the pulp from the reamer between juicing so that all the juice is collected. Also, even though it is listed as having a "double strainer to catch pulp and seeds" some pulp does remain in the juice after being poured through the second strainer. All and all the Juicester is a useful, pleasant kitchen gadget to work with, that does what its description states with minimal effort.

When I tipped the Juicester to strain the juice into a pitcher all the seeds and pulp from the strainer went with it. THe reamer works well. the strainer doesn't.
Compact hand juicer that works great! May 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I needed a juicer quick and looked to Amazon reviews. Since I was only looking to juice a few limes, lemons and oranges I wasn't prepared to purchase an expensive electric one. This juicer arrived fast (two day shipping) and it works great. I like that it has an attachment for larger fruit such as oranges and grapefruits. It is well made, easy to clean and store. If you have weak wrists or need to make large batches then you should go for an electric one. I have since purchased (from Amazon) a Black and Decker CJ525 Citrus Mate Plus Citrus Juicer for my sister that was just a few more dollars than what I paid for the Chef'n Juicester and she says it works like a charm. She lives in Florida and the family has put it to the test. I'm probably going to get one too. But for this review, if your just juicing a few oranges than this unit is for you.
good hand juicer May 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this because my wife had bought a Cuisinart juicer, which I grew to strongly dislike for various reasons. I find this juicer easy to use (doesn't need to much force), effective (juices thoroughly and completely -- more so than the Cuisinart), doesn't make a mess if you do something slightly wrong, easy to clean (since it doesn't chew up the orange there isn't an excessive amount of pulp to deal with, it takes a few seconds to take it apart and rinse it thoroughly).
