Guy Buffet's designs--inspired by his childhood in Paris kitchens--are whimsical and colorful enough to brighten the mood at any table. Your guests won't see Buffet's lighthearted Charge of the Bottle Brigade image on this oval serving platter until after they finish the entree and it comes as a joyous surprise when the artwork suddenly appears. At 16 inches long, the platter is generously sized--large enough to hold a family-size roaster. All together, this platter by Eschenbach is a Continental experience--inspired by French restaurants (Buffet's parents were restaurateurs) and fashioned out of fine German porcelain.
