Well-made and good-looking, these Provencal pasta bowls from Emile Henry provide ideal shape and depth for forking up linguine, tortellini, or farfalle. Their coupe form is also suitable for large servings of cereal, soup, salad, or ice cream. Easily stacked and safe in the dishwasher, the bowls can go directly from the freezer to the oven and are also suitable for the broiler and microwave. First I want to say I got 2 bowls as given in the description. After reading a couple of reviews by people reviewing this item, not only the blue but other colors. Stating they only got one. Makes me wonder if they are reviewing the right item. Amazon does have a 1 quart pasta bowl, that is being sold as one piece only. This is the 3rd set of 2 I have ordered from Amazon and each case I received the 2 as given in description. These are great bowls, I could see using these as a vegetable serving bowl, a very large cereal bowl, a large individual salad bowl. These bowls will hold about 2 cups of food with room to spare. I have also ordered the quart bowl. For someone who is not partial to blue, I'll have to say the blue in this bowl is striking. So I just ordered another set as I got these on sale. If Amazon reduces the price on the 1 quart in blue, I would order that also.
Just a side bar, I had a male friend over one day and he saw the bowls, he was so impressed with them he had me order a set for him. Which really amazed me. I also told him I was taken back that a man would be impressed with dishes, they usually want tools. He told me he likes to eat from quality dishes also.

Nice product, however description says 24.00 set of two. 24.00 is for one bowl. I needed 4 so I ordered what I thought was 2 orders of 2 for 48.00 and received only 2 bowls...
