The item works fine but arrived with $2.99 postage due even though I had supposedly prepaid the shipping charges.

Simple. $56 as opposed to $90 at Home Depot. Same DeWalt battery drop shipped to my door for $56. Works fine.

I have had my hammer drill for over 10 years and this is the second new battery I have ever had to buy. How many companies keep their products compatible to each other as their technologies evolve? I started with NON-XRP batteries, but when they came up with this greatly improved battery I did not have to go and buy a new drill to enjoy their breakthrough.

The service was very good and the product arrived in a very timely manner. I was disappointed that they were of the older series of batteries but they do the job.
High Capacity Battery June 1, 2008
These batteries are the high capacity version. They realy work well. Delivery was quick and the price was the best I have seen
