Very Suprised, Excellent February 8, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was very suprised as to the power of this tool, it sinks a 2 inch nail with no problem. The batteries lasts longer then I thought they would, it's very light and most of all the price was RIGHT ! Great tool, no complaints.

The Palmgren 92101 HipShot 12-Volt Ni-Cad Tankless Cordless Shoulder Strap Compressor is 'absolutely awesome' according to our son-in-law. He is the jack of all trades in his family and ours so he needed something portable to use with his air tools. It was on sale for under fifty dollars so I bought one for myself to use at our cabin and one as a Christmas gift for him. He has just now had an opportunity to use it and was very pleased with it. I used my Dremel 290-01 1.15 Amp 7,200 Stroke Per Minute Engraver includes Letter and Number Template to brand both our sets. According to him it is ideal for his needs. I haven't used mine yet but, when I do, I will update my review. ~ The Boss
Love it! December 18, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This compressor works great! I need it for small jobs around the house, and it's a much better alternative to having to drag the big compressor around just to tack on a few nails at a time. The battery has so far lasted through building two simple workshop shelves and tacking on some light wood rails to a bookshelf. It's not that slow either. I can make a shot per second (I'm new at woodworking), and it's kept up with me just fine.
Highly recommended for light jobs and smaller nails (I've only used it with 1.5", 18-gauge nails so far).
