5 out of 5 stars High Quality Kit   December 21, 2005

Came time to finish the lower level of our house and needed one of these gems to get the job done. Initially looked at the Porter Cable CFFN240N but without an oil lubricated pump there was no way I would have that thing running inside my house (Way too Loud). Makita came through big time when they introduced this machine, I can have the thing running next to me and keep a conversation going on my cell phone with no problem. Besides that the CFM on this baby is impressive for its size. 3.3CFM @90PSI. Make sure you note that it is rated at 90PSI because a lot of the other manufacturers rate on a 100PSI level. Best way to buy this is in the kit configuration where you get the brad nailer, hose, fittings, and fasteners for not much more money. This way everything comes to you in one package. If you are looking for a small compact compressor that has the capacity of the medium sized units, this is the one. Don't forget the noise level!!

1 out of 5 stars I'm Still Waiting   July 8, 2004

The shipping date for this product states that it ships in 1 to 2 weeks. I have currently been waiting for over 5 weeks for my order to be shipped. I have also been informed that the product has been delayed again and the new estimated shipping date might be another 1 to 2 weeks. This would make my total wait almost 7 weeks for shipping and probably another week for delivery, assuming that it ever gets shipped. I am very disappointed in the estimated shipping date that is posted. If I was given an accurate estimate, I would have ordered a different product. I now feel that I have a certain amount of time invested and feel obligated to wait it out.
