| Customer Reviews:
So much nicer than the plastic stuff. September 2, 2008 These are fantastic bowls and lids. Just the right size. Microwave in them and they don't melt. They don't leak. Clean and neat. I would recommend these to anyone!! And thanks to Amazon I got a fantastic price on them. Highly recommended.
Good storage containers August 6, 2008 Pyrex is nice...you can put them in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, etc. I bought two sets of these because 14 pieces counts the lids, so you end up with only 7 dishes. I gave four stars because they chip easily...before I used a single dish, one chipped on me as I was putting it away. I am waiting to see if I have any other chipping problems. Overall, these things are great. I highly recommend using these over plastic food containers!
great storageware August 4, 2008 I bought this set after getting rid of my old plastic stuff. There are concerns about chemicals in plastics so I thought, why chance it? So I bought these containers and I have to say I like them even better than the plastic. They heat well in the microwave and are just the right size for storage and meal portioning. The lids are included and are water tight from what I've seen. I think it is definitely worth the money to buy something that will last and might even be more safe for you.
Great July 14, 2008 The pyrex set is great - it's nice to be able to take the lid off and stick the container in the microwave. The only downside is that the lids can be a little hard to get on the containers.
Change from plastic to glass July 5, 2008 We replaced all of the plastic storage containers with these glass containers. They aren't expensive, they work well and they are arguable much safer for us and the environment. What's not to like? They could use some larger matching bowls.
