This item worked pretty well. It did not pull out a giant clump of hair as I expected, but all the little stuff it got ended up clearing the drain perfectly & I used zero chemicals. It was a little messy as stuff sort of splattered out when I retracted it from the drain in my sink. Also, the plastic barbs that grab the clog were a little worn after one use. It is not meant to be reusable, but I think I can get a few more uses out of it.

I have had one of these before that I bought from an As Seen On TV Store and lost it in a move. I was so glad when I found it on Amazon that I cleaned all of my sinks as soon as I got it out of the box and it took only a matter of minutes! It is one of those things that looks like nothing but can get anything out of a drain!! I will always have one of these in my home and would recommend it to anyone!!!!

Just got one at Wal-mart today for $2.24. I was sick of the slow drains in our bathroom sink and tub. I pulled up 4 or 5 clumps of gunky hair in about 5 minutes. Works great! I think it could be a little sturdier to push through the clog though. Bends a little too easily at times, but not enough to make it useless. For the price, you can't beat it. Saves you tons of money over those liquid drain openers that don't even work!!! Give it a try!

A complete waste of money. A toothpick would work just as well. The image in the advertisement was hardly distinguishable, and it provided no detail on length.
