Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Hickory handles for strength. The Head is cast from S-7 tool steel; harder and tougher than standard steel. The innovative Magnetic Nail Set for square andplumb, sheeting, or any out of reach nail start. Triple Heat Treating for durability and performance. The head and claws are hardened, while the center is 'drawnback' The softer center acts as a shock absorber greatly reducing the chance of cracked or broken claws. Cylindrical Wedges expand the hickory in a 360 degree direction eliminating voids. Precision Balance.

Have been in the carpentry trade for almost forty years and have used many different models and weights of hammers. This is no doubt the finest hammer I've ever used. I would recommend this superb tool to anyone....

5 out of 5 stars Hammer for the disabled   December 10, 1999

I only have about 5% use of my left hand. Recently I read an add about the Deathstick with the magnetic nail holder. Having a hard time starting nails one handed I was very intreged by this feature. After purchsing this hammer and using it I was extremely impressed. The hammer has become a permanent addition to my tool pouch.
