Bosch 1942 heat gun October 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My original lasted something like fifteen years and when I damaged it there was no question but that I would replace it with the same tool. This is probably the finest heat gun on the market today.
Works for me July 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't use heat guns a lot but I was frustrated with NOT having a stand on the heat gun I had. As far as variable heat, just move what your heating closer or further away from the gun.

This is a very well made heat gun, it works extremely well and is not flimsy like some other brands I have used.
HEAT GUN February 27, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I recently purchased the bosch 1942 heat gun. I am very pleased with my purchase. I like the fact that it doen't get hot enough to burn the wood, Although they all have the potential too. The last gun I had would get very hot. Hot enough I would burn the wood. You can really tell the difference in the areas I stripped with the old heat gun and the new one. I would recommend this heat gun to anyone interested in purchasing such a product.
