If you're a professional installer, just click the Buy Now button—the longer you wait, the more money you lose. Everything in this kit will make your install jobs easier and faster, and we all know time is money. Because laminate is a floating floor, it needs an expansion gap at the walls, and then the joints are glued and clamped, an awkward (and panicky) job if you don't have the right tools. The 18-foot strap clamps grips the laminate planks across widths up to18 feet, and because the nylon strap coils inside the housing, there's no mess in the workspace. The extra-long base even reaches under cabinetry toe spaces. The deep-draw floor suctions can clamp in any direction, even working as a clamp extension. The variable wall spacer features a wide, heavy base and an ergonomic knob for easy adjustment when it matters most. A groove on one side of the tapping block even mates with the standard laminate tongue. My purchase of the Crain Laminate Tool Kit cut installation time in half, at least. Although and expensive acquistion, I believe the kit will pay for itself in 3 - 4 installations. I would highly recommend this kit to the professional as well as the do-it-yourselfer who has a large area of laminate flooring to install. As a Home Builder, I would rate this tool kit in my Top Ten Best Tool Purchases! This tool is a must have for anyone who frequently installs laminate flooring.
