The Freud Difference
Freud manufactures some of the most innovative, technologically advanced saw blades in the world. To ensure that the highest quality products meet the toughest design standards, Freud owns and operates six manufacturing facilities in Western Europe. By overseeing the entire manufacturing process from start to finish, Freud guarantees some of the highest quality, most advanced products in the industry.

About this Framing Saw Blade
The Freud Diablo 7-1/4-inch 24-tooth framing saw blade features a super thin laser-cut kerf for extremely fast, durable, and clean cuts. 5 out of 5 stars this blade keeps on going!   July 25, 2008
I've been using this blade for quite some time now and so far it has yet to need sharpening. Plus the thin kerf adds a noticeable boost of power to my 13amp Craftsmen Circular saw. It used to slow down on some thicker cuts but now it glides right through with ease. Plus you gotta love that red color... If this blade ever goes down, I'll buy the same thing again.

5 out of 5 stars Sharp saw blade   May 10, 2008
Bought 5 of these at a promo price.Used these in my V28 and 18 volt Milwaukee circular saws.Extremely fast cuts with this blade and is a comparable alternative to buying the Milwaukee Endurance Saw blade.Cheaper than the Dewalt combo bade set at my local Lowe's and far superior to the Dewalt.Save a lot if you buy more than one.Pleased with product and has withstood construction site tests.

These blades beat the others hands down. Almost too good for just framing. Cuts through wood like butter. You pay a little more for them but the results make the cost worth it.

5 out of 5 stars The only blade I use   February 23, 2008

I started using Freud Diablo blades about 5 years ago because I found that they are extremely well balanced, make exceptionally fast ,smooth, splinter free cuts. Even there framing blades are smooth enough for finish work. I am a professional finish carpenter and will settle for nothing less. If a store I'm shopping for blades does'nt carry these I leave to shop for them elsewhere. They cost a little more than your run of the mill blades(the yellow ones) but are well worth the few extra bucks and will last 10 times longer. Professional tip: After using any blade for a long period of time they tend to collect pitch in the blade tips, the blade may not be dull, just dirty. I pull them from the saw and soak them for a few days in turpentine, this will help release the pitch from the blades.

5 out of 5 stars Is this thing for real?   February 8, 2004

I was just working with a framer who had this blade on this Mag 77 and I was stunned at how fast this blade cut through wood. It's hard to believe that a blade could make that much difference. All cuts with this blade were effortless. We ripped a 6"x10"x12' beam on the 6" side. You would have thought we had just used a table saw. This is a sweet blade.
