| Customer Reviews:
Good base, cheap lights October 25, 2008 I saw these lights and was pleased by the price. I ordered four 500 watt lights and one 300 watt light. The fixture is made out of metal and is solid. I was glad to see the mounting bracket was metal also. I have purchased, and have seen many other lights that their mounting brackets were plastic. The only complaint I have is the light bulbs. Within the first four days, one bulb was burnt out. I don't have them on that long either, since 2300 watts of lights makes my electric meeter spin like a turbine aircraft engine - very fast = very expenive. I have them off my deck lighting up the trees in my back yard. Mood lighting. I probably had them on a total of 1 hour before the first one burnt out. After 2 weeks of having them installed, I had replaced ALL of the 500 watt bulbs. I have not yet had to replace the 300 watt bulb, but I have purched one to replace it already. I bought heavy duty bulbs and have not had a problem since. So, light mounts great, but cheap bulbs. Just plan on buying heavy duty bulbs at the store. In general I'm pleased with the lights. I would buy more, and then buy lights to replace the cheap ones that come with it.
