I've been to the store and bought many showerheads and tried them out to find the best. This one ranks near the top. Can't find a better price for it than at amazon. Lowes prices it at $35. Fairly good pressure, though not as powerful as I thought from the other reviews. The water disperses and reaches you in bead-like form. The best showehead I've found though is the Aqua Water Pik. It gives a broader spray with more force.

I purchased this showerhead for our downstairs bathroom. The landlord installed a water-saving unit, which when combined with low water pressure, made this shower basically unusable.
We now take all of our showers under this wonderful unit. The flow of water after installing the Delta is the perfect amount for rinsing out shampoo and conditioner, something the previous unit could never do. The volume control lever is perfect for conserving hot water, by allowing you to decrease the flow while applying soap then increasing to rinse. For the price, it's obviously not made of metal, but it is well made and assembled. I'm very glad I purchased this unit.
INSTALLATION:
I had never replaced a shower head before, but installing this unit took less than 5 minutes. All you need is a pair of adjustable pliers, duct tape, and sealing tape. Wrap a small lengths of duct tape around the teeth of the pliers, unscrew the old unit using the pliers, remove any old sealing tape or material from the threads of the shower, apply the new sealing tape (under a dollar at any hardware store), and screw on the new unit. Test the new unit for leaks and you're done.
Highly recommended if you want a well performing showerhead for the best possible price with easy installation. The unit was delivered to me a full 3 days sooner than I expected and was in perfect condition.

We bought this showerhead after buying our house a few months back. Based on the reviews here, we were hopeful that it could help us cut down our water bill. We installed it very easily, using a few dabs of plumber's adhesive from Home Depot to make sure the seal on the screwed in part was tight. We didn't have any problems with figuring out which setting was high or low pressure, since it sounded and felt different. If we were confused, I guess we could have just tested it by placing a bucket under it for 5 seconds with each setting and saw which released more water. When we first opened the box, it did look very light and plasticky, which was a little worrisome. But it looks just fine installed, and it's actually been great to use. Our old massager Waterpik head was not only a total water waster, but it was so heavy that gradually it couldn't hold itself up, and it would prop itself on the shower caddy. I personally prefer the lighter shower feel, since it still seems plenty strong, but it's nice that you can choose since guests might prefer a stronger jet.

1) Our house and bathroom were built in the 30's and we've had problems with the drain not being fast enough for how strong the previous showerhead was, so we'd wind up with soaking feet at the end of our showers (not pleasant, hard to feel like you got really clean with feet soaking in standing water); after this was installed, I've had NO problems with drainage
2) I can now take a whole, slow shower without the hot water running out. This will be great for when guests come over Christmas especially. I bet I'll also save on water heating costs.
The price is great, and the product exceeded my expectations!

I was a little skeptical that a $25 product would both save water and provide a enjoyable experience. But it did both. I tested it myself and it does save water, and it does make it difficult to leave the shower. It produces a spray of water that envelopes your entire body. You won't be disappointed.

Great pressure, great price. Lower waters bills greatly as well as energy bills since it uses far less hot water. The 2.5gpm is very powerful and the 1.85 is plenty. Highly recommended, will buy another!
