 Great little light... December 30, 2006
It's amazing how little light you need when it's truly dark. This little guy certainly delivers the light you need when you need it. It's very convenient because it's small and bright for its size. I like the light despite the button's lack of durability cited in other reviews. I generally keep the clip over the button which protects it from contact with other stuff you might have in your pocket. With the clip over the button, you can also use it in a "pulse mode" if you're into morse code or signalling. Batteries are easy to replace and last a really long time.
Favorite features:
- comes with a keychain to keep it handy
- keychain is also a good way to hang it up to cast light in a broader area
- long battery life
- plenty of light from a small package
- clip is handy for attaching to hat bill for hands free operation
- stows away easily in small places (briefcase, purse, backpack, etc.)
I really like this light. I'd recommend it as a great stocking stuffer or business gift, too.

Great little light; bright, tiny, and perfect for keychain use. I used it everywhere. Then the little rubber button fell off and it's now useless. Another reviewer pointed out the same thing. It's a tremendous little flashlight with a flaw that makes it not such a great buy.

Do not shine this in anyones eyes. They pack some serious light into a small package.
This light makes a very attractive and bright keychain light. The clip works great for clipping to the brim of a hat for hands free use. Very solid construction. Batteries are sold in 3 packs at the Wal*mart watch counter (fairly inexpensive). I only know this because I left it on accidently for 24 hours.
I wish that the light could be focused, which seeems to be difficult for LED flashlights. I also wish that there was a quick-release for the keychain lanyard. Would make it easier to use with the hat or free from the burden of a couple of pounds of keys. :)

This little flashlight is gorgeous and is almost all I could want in a tiny flashlight. But I have it on my key ring in my pocket and the little rubber button switch comes off and eventually gets lost. It could have a better switch.

I thought that I might use this as a makeshift AF illuminator for some of my point and shoot cameras that have trouble focusing in low-light situations. To be honest I haven't tried it for that purpose yet. However, this is obviously a stylish, compact, and powerful item of quality-build and I give it 5 stars based on those characteristics.
It operates using 4 "LR44" (also known as "AG13") type batteries which are not hard to find when the time comes to replace them; they are inserted via the bottom of the thing, where the chain attaches - just unscrew.
A neat thing you can do is reverse the clip and then attach the light to the bill of your cap so you are "hands-free" if you need to be.
The only complaint might be that the on-off button is somewhat difficult to "mash" on and off; but all in all this key chain light is well worth having. I give it Five stars!
