 If you are sanding this mask is almost useless November 16, 2008
This mask, although capturing small particle if they are actually attempted to be sucked in through the mask would work great. However, with only one strap it does not form a tight seal, so dust is sucked in around the edges.
I just finished trying it for an hour of sanding with 80 grit and although I was sure to make it fit as well as possible I'm still coughing up dust.

These are a fine dust mask. They won't get crushed and all mushy like some of the cheap brands do. For the price, they seem to be a good buy.
