Quick, Easy and No Bad Smell September 12, 2008 Having worked a lot with soft woods and some kiln dried black cherry, my Ridgid table saw and Delta radial arm saw had quite a build up of pitch/sap. I simply followed the directions on the bottle and the goo immediately came off. Result is that the blades cut as though they were new...are quieter and saw much cooler. This product is great and it takes just a little to do a big job.
Great stuff, NOT Simple Green! April 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent pitch remover. CMT 2050 is fast, effective, and easy to use with little to no scrubbing. I have also tried Simple Green to clean blades and bits, and don't know how the two could be confused.
does what it says July 15, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I first used this in a shop when working in Nantucket, Mass even though I had seen it before. It really does what it says, I sprayed it on the table saw blade as I turned it, and it melted it clean, same for the other blades in the shop, along with the router bits I needed to clean, it works very well.
aka Simple Green? March 12, 2007 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
I'd swear this is Simple Green(available at any Wal-Mart) minus the color and the scent. Maybe try that first for much much much less.

This stuff really works. I bought it to clean a gummed up carbide table saw blade. I put the blade in a plastic bucket, sprayed both sides, let it sit for a couple of minutes and wiped it off. That was it, the blade was clean.
