This multi outlet plug adaptor is a great help and time saver. I've gotten so that when I buy a new single outlet extention cord, I also buy one of these to keep with it. They lend flexibility when you're stuck in a tight corner or up on a laddar with more than one corded power tool. You don't have to stop and unplug one tool, then plug in the other when changing jobs. They're rugged and brightly colored for visability, too. I use them all the time with the several Coleman heavy duty #12 gauge cords I have. They're also great to stick into an wall outlet in a pinch. But, please remember, be safe!! DON'T use these handy plugs to OVERLOAD AN UNDERSIZED extension cord.
