We started counting all the uses for this little dynamo, but we stopped at 967. We like it for delicate tasks and finer work because it isn't as powerful as its big brothers, so it's easier to control. It's light, extremely maneuverable, the switch is exactly where you want it and heck, it's just plain fun to use. It's perfect for jewelry, electronics, tiny woodworking crafts like dollhouse furniture and other intricate hobbies. It uses Dremel's wide array of bits, so there's virtually no limit to what you can do with this.  Great tool for trimming dog nails. October 9, 2008
This works perfectly for trimming dog nails with no muss or fuss. Easy to use and low noise.

I bought this dremel instead of a PediPaws dog nail trimmer. I love it! My dogs (Pugs) are really skittish about noises plus they HATE to have their nails trimmed. I don't like the splintered nails they have after a trim. I love the dremel, not too high powered as to hurt them, but enough power (and time on one charge) to do both dogs. I would recommend this to anyone!
Wonderful tool for trimming dog's nails October 7, 2008
The Dremel Minimite works great for trimming our dog's nails. The dog is not afraid of the noise and the tool works quickly to trim the nails down.

I looked forward to getting this item based on reviews. The doggone thing doesn't work. Four people in addition to myself attempted to fit the tool with the fine sander attachment and could not do it.
Perhaps I just received a lemon, but this has been money down the drain. I have ordered a different item.

Great for the dog October 6, 2008
I wanted something to use on my dog so we didn't have to put him out everytime he needed his nails done. He was a bit hesitant at first because of the sound and just past issues with his nails. We've used it twice now and he just lays down and let's us do his nails. Beats having the vet put him out and do his nails for $60.
