Product Description Forty-percent lighter and 33-percent more productive than other ultra-compact drill/drivers, the Pocket Driver is small enough to fit into a tool belt pouch and lightweight and powerful enough to accomplish a majority of professional drill/driving tasks all day without fatigue. For carpenters, remodelers, electricians, woodworkers and more, the Pocket Driver is an invaluable complement to larger and heavier cordless drill/drivers. The 10.8-volt Pocket Driver measures only 6 by 6.5-inches, nearly half the size of stick drivers and other ultra-compact drill/drivers. Under 2 pounds (with battery), the Pocket Driver is also 40% lighter and comfortably fits into a tool belt pouch or back pocket, unlike the competition. The Pocket Driver can drive 100 3-inch screws per charge and drill holes up to 1/2-inch in diameter, more than enough to keep most professionals productive through the day. The variable speed trigger controls 0-400 rpm and over 80-inch/lbs. of torque. A 10+1 clutch system, similar to those of standard drill/drivers, offers 10 drive and one "Max" drill setting for better control. The tool's Clic-Change bit holder makes 1/4-inch hex shank bits changes quick and easy. And an LED light enhances visibility in dim working conditions, while a soft-grip handle makes the tool more comfortable for all day use. Litheon 10.8-volt tools, such as the Pocket Driver, were not possible before lithium-ion technology. In addition to larger more powerful 36-volt tools, Bosch recognized the opportunity to extend the inherent benefits of the new battery technology to innovate the lower end of the voltage spectrum with a never before seen ultra-compact, lightweight and powerful design. The Ultra-Compact Bosch PS20 LITHEON 10.8-volt Pocket Driver comes complete with two batteries, 30-minute charger, soft carrying case and two bits.
Amazon.com Review This driver would look more at home on a Fisher-Price workbench than anywhere else, but its looks are completely deceiving. It's tiny, it's light as a feather (less than 2 pounds including the battery!), but we promise, it packs power you won't believe. Bosch fuels it with "litheon," which the company calls "the industry's most advanced lithium-ion battery technology." We can attest that there's absolutely no lag in power even when the battery's about to hit empty, and the run time is very impressive, driving literally hundreds of screws before needing a quick charge. It's rare that we come across a tool that would suit everyone, right across the board, but this is definitely one. Carpenters, remodelers, cabinet makers, builders, hobbyists, homeowners, crafters, RVers, weekend warriors and, dare we say, your mom, will come to find this little driver indispensable.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste What's in the Box PS20 Litheon 10.8-volt Pocket Driver, two batteries, 30-minute charger, soft carrying case, two bits

Good balance between power and duration use June 7, 2008 Drove self taping screws all day into a roof of a 2 car garage with TIN all day. My brother used it a lot and he stated he wished ALL his tools had a bright LED like that when the daylight started to fade out on us. We only used one battery but I had another one charged and ready to go. The first one did not loose power or die on us. That's a lot of screws.
Just what I needed June 1, 2008 I bought one of these for use in a contract manufacturing environment. I'm the manager of several mechanical assemblers and just received a new contract to build laptop docking stations. These kits come with 2 batteries and a super charger that recharges the batteries in just 30 minutes. They will last up to 4 hours of constant use. Tongue is perfect and very easy to adjust. Not overly noisy like some impact guns. This is a nice smooth operation driver that does what it is supposed to do very nicely. I bought a second one for the same use. I'm not only a manager, I'm an assembler too. Had to have one myself.
This little drill packs a punch. Thank you, Bosch! June 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This quality little drill / electric screwdriver is absolutely wonderful. It's smaller and lighter than a regular drill, but has a lot of power for its size (unlike those 3 to 4 volt "electric" screwdrivers). Rubber grip built-in handle is nice, easy to change bits (just pull, insert, and release), and LED light make this a very comfortable and easy to use tool. I was hesitant because of the price, but finally pulled the trigger and bought one, and I am very happy that I did so. I use this little Bosch drill much more than my bigger and heavier drill, and more as an electric screwdriver than a drill. Very happy with this product and highly recommend it to all.
In small tool, a big power May 13, 2008 I work all day for 8hr continually, non stop. The battery are easy to charge and fast only 30'. You mast have one.
Bosch PS20-2 Pocket Driver May 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bosch has always made some of my favorite tools. When I saw the Pocket Driver at a trade show and felt how light and powerful it was, I knew I found a great all-around screw driver for my business. I can use it for pocket screw joinery because the torque settings snug things up without crushing the wood. With the variable speed trigger, I can use it for controlled installation/removal of slotted screws. Contrary to some reviews, I even do some light drilling to start small screws (Vix Bits). Three people have tried mine and immediately bought their own. My DeWalt is now only used for drilling holes. Now I'm looking seriously at the Bosch Impact Driver for those screws the Pocket Driver can't handle.
