Very high quality! June 29, 2006 Purchased this for some weekend warrior deck repair. Excellent balance and I was actually suprised how much a company could improve such an age old tool!
Great tool February 25, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
One of the reviewer wrote something to the effect, "it's a hammer, what's the big deal". Well, I pretty much thought the same thing, and always used cheap hammers. What a difference this hammer (or probably any quality hammer) makes. It feels balanced in you hand and gives you confidence when hammering. If you don't have a good hammer in your tool box, get one.
a hammer isn't just a hammer October 2, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've been a carpenter for 20 years and I've used just about every hammer out there. I bought the Stanley anitvibe 20 oz. about a year ago and I love it. The handle fits comfortable in your hand and the curve at the but of the handle keeps you grip firm.
Sweet swinger! January 27, 2002 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is one of those tools that just puts a smile on your face when you hold it in your hand. For years, I've used an old wooden-handled hammer my dad used to fix fence with on the ranch. As soon as I got this nice Stanley in my hand, I knew I'd made a good choice. I was in the middle of a remodeling project when it arrived and immediately put it to work. What a difference! I didn't know what I was missing. Nice weight, balance, and grip. No vibration. A good choice.
