This 79-piece multi-purpose tool kit from Apollo Precision Tools contains all the tools needed for most mechanical and household repairs and projects. The tools are constructed of 45C carbon steel or chrome vanadium steel, heat-treated and chrome-plated where appropriate to resist corrosion. The tool handles are made of double-dipped plastics and the tool case is made of extra heavy-duty materials. All tools meet or exceed critical ANSI standards. This kit includes 20 one-inch bits, eight SAE hex keys, eight metric hex keys, 6-inch long nose pliers, 6-inch adjustable wrench, claw hammer, utility knife, 12-foot tape measure, ratcheting bit driver, 3/8-inch drive ratchet handle, 3/8-inch drive extension bar, 3/8 by 1/4-inch drive adapter, nine 3/8-inch drive sockets, and 25 1/4-inch drive sockets. Each tool is tested against industry standards for hardness, torque, finish and usability and should last a lifetime under normal use. The tools are held securely in a sturdy blow molded case with a carry handle.

 pretty good deal July 27, 2008
When I received this tool kit, I found they are exactly as described. Everything is good excpet that the box is not that spacious. However, based on the price, it's a good deal!
 Great tool-set for it's price July 8, 2008
It's possible that there is another better set for the price, but this one has everything I need for now. I agree with the previous poster's complaint that the spaces in the case for fitting some parts are a bit small and hard to work with at times, but it is not so much of an issue to make me less satisfied. If you have next to no tools and just need the basics, this is probably all you need. If you already have some of the tools included (hammer, tape measure, screwdrivers, etc). You may want to consider investing the money in other higher quality parts (e.g. a good multi-tip screwdriver set).
Fine for an inexpensive tool kit December 31, 2007
This is a fine inexpensive tool kit, though it is difficult to extra the small pieces from the blow-molded case.
